Holly's approachable, strait to the point but relaxed style meant no question or lack of understanding was as issue. It had been a few years without using any knowledge id learnt in my dive master course but Holly made it all come back. Firman and other instructors were around too for help, feeling like you have joined a diving family.

I team taught for a while after completing my IDC and then went on to have my own students. I cannot wait to continue teaching this year and bring the ocean to more people.

She is friendly and personable, professional, and passionate about diving. She is an intuitive instructor in the classroom and in the water. She is able to break down complex dive theory into an easily digestible lesson that makes learning fun! She holds her students to a high standard and does not accept any less so when it comes time for the instructor exam, I felt more than adequately prepared. Her program is nearly a week longer than other IDC's offered, which gives her more time to delve deeper into the subject matter and give her students a theoretical and practical understanding of course material that may not come with a quicker program. She is tough but fair, and will put the extra time in to ensure her students have all the tools and skills necessary, not to just meet performance requirements, but to exceed them as well. I truly feel that doing my IDC with Holly has built a strong foundation that I can build on throughout my diving career. She emphasises continuing education and offers the resources for upward expansion, both in recreational and technical diving, all while managing a very busy dive center. The dive center has two pools dedicated to scuba diving practice, and the open water dives are breathtaking.

Holly was amazing throughout the course, so patient, so helpful and so experienced. I thoroughly enjoyed the course, it was challenging but in a great way. We had a bigger group than I expected (16 of us) and I was initially worried that I would miss out on some individual attention but Holly and all the staff instructors were super friendly and always there to answer questions and help with anything I needed. At the beginning we afraid of having IDC and IE in English, but Holly is patient and sweet to explain everything to us with an easy understanding way and give us Chinese version of all the material we need.
