"Provide the best Response"
Respond to Emergencies Quickly with the Knowledge, Confidence and Skills to provide the best possible assistance to others. Learn essential skills alongside the PADI IDC Gili Islands, Indonesia.
Become an Emergency First Responder
On the PADI IDC Gili Islands we offer the full range of Emergency First Response training. Emergency First Response (EFR) is a world recognized first aid and emergency training system. We cover all the knowledge you need to use this as part of a PADI IDC Gili Islands course. This 1-day course will take you through a series of skills that will help in many high-risk situations.
The course covers the following:
- CPR training
- Serious bleeding
- Shock and spinal injury care techniques
Both our Divemaster and IDC programs in the Gili Islands require EFR certification.
Become an Emergency First Response Instructor
To gain a PADI OWSI rating, you will also need to be a certified EFR Instructor. Because of this we include EFR Instructor training in our IDC packages.
You will learn the standards and structure of the full range of EFR courses. On top of this, we offer practical training sessions and tips to improve these key first aid skills.
We split our EFRI course into 3 components over 1 to 2 days. It begins with a series of sessions conducted by PADI Course Director and EFRI Trainer Holly Macleod. All our starting sessions are knowledge led to ensure everyone is on the same level. These will cover the EFR course structure, order, standards and teaching system.
You will then complete a series of knowledge reviews and an exam. After, you will run a session from the EFR Primary and Secondary Care and Care for Children courses. This confirms you have learned the correct skills before getting certified for your PADI IDC course. The PADI office processes EFRI applications and offers certification. You can maintain your rating through regular teaching and renewing your membership on an annual basis.
The PADI EFRI training can be fun, educational and potentially life saving for all future activities.
